My Story: Disruption as a Catalyst for Reinvention

Disruption, in its many forms, is often seen as chaos - a force that unsettles and uproots. Yet, I’ve come to understand that the winds of disruption bring the seeds of reinvention. Whether it’s in our careers, relationships, or personal lives, disruption challenges us to evolve, creating opportunities for recalibration we may have never otherwise pursued.

My own life has been shaped by countless moments of upheaval, moments where I was asked to reimagine who I was and how I moved through this world. I am no stranger to profound personal chaos, have faced the joy and turbulence of parenting, the volatility of career transitions, and the confusion of being laid off, only to rise and double my salary twice over. I’ve experienced the dismantling of a 29-year marriage while navigating the pain and the complexities of divorce. Through it all, I’ve known the deep emotional toll of personal trauma, caregiving through life-threatening illness, and the loss of loved ones.

But instead of viewing these upheavals as show-stoppers, I have learned to see them as invitations to live vibrantly. These moments have unlocked my creativity, expanded my adaptability, and allowed me to build a life filled with joy. I now channel this lived experience into my passion to help others embrace disruption as a pathway to personal and professional reinvention. By fostering curiosity, confidence, and courage, I invite individuals and teams to not ‘survive’ during let’s messiest moments, but to thrive in it - finding new fortitude, clarity, and aliveness in the process.
